    New Holland 644 hay roller

I have a NH 644 hay roller. When the roller is full it will not automatically go into tie cycle. If you press the manual lever down it ties perfectly. Any ideas why it won't automatically go into tie mode? Thanks

John Deere 310A No hydraulics will not move

I have a John Deere 310A backhoe loader that will not move and has no functioning hydraulics. It started out acting like the clutch was "slipping" and then a few days later it quit moving altogether but the loader and backhoe still functioned. Now all hydraulics have quit as well. Here is...

    Zero Turn Hydraulic Help

These are all good replies. I have been working on it in my spare time and I am starting to think the pump or motor is bad as JD Seller suggested. The hose was made locally and perhaps there were some rubber shavings in the hose that made their way into the pump or motor. There is a return line...

    Zero Turn Hydraulic Help

I am working on my aunt's Derby ZT2354 (Ferris) zero turn mower and am looking for some advice. At the start of the summer the mower was working great but one of the hydraulic hoses going to the right wheel motor was leaking (it has 2 pumps and 2 wheel motors but 1 reservoir). I replaced the...

    OT Ford Ranger AC

Check the air gap on the compressor clutch also, it could cause it to not cycle correctly. It can be adjusted with shims (washers) if this is the problem.

    1997 f250

Is it titled as a 97 or a 98? 97 wouldn't have had a 5.4 engine and if it is a 98 then it will most likely be a 7 lug F250 which is basically just an F150 with a slightly beefier suspension and axle with the same drivetrain as an F150. 1998 was a transition year from the square body trucks to...

    Keystone Air Compressor

Good idea- I will check it out. I'm learning as I go- this is my first experience with air compressors. I am going to air up the tank from a distance before I put the engine on it just to make sure it is solid with no leaks.

    Keystone Air Compressor

Here are some more pictures if anyone can tell anything else about it? The tank says it was made in 1962.

    Keystone Air Compressor

I am thinking my 16 hp engine will have more than enough power so I was thinking I could run it at a lower rpm and get a bigger pulley (maybe 6 inch). But I may go with a 4 inch pulley since the compressor is so old it may not like getting up close to 1k rpms. I will add some pictures later that...

    Keystone Air Compressor

I have an old Keystone air compressor that I just bought with no engine. It had a gas engine of some sort on it but that is all I know. I have added some pictures of it also. Does anyone know what RPMs I should run this thing? I have a 16 hp Kohler engine I am using but need to know what pulley...

    Too much oil pressure?

My vote is the oil pressure sending unit is bad- I've had it happen a few times on systems with automatic alarms/shutdowns.
