    I noticed the oil dipstick was backing out, so I pushed it back in with the tractor running and very clearly the crank is making contact with it. It was a wide blade replacement showing witness marks, so I found a 58 model that was correct (round wire with flattened end) but the problem...

    Even in it's current state it rode ok less the lean on the bent side, though nearly bottomed out. I'm not going to feel bad cutting on this thing to adapt to the Fordson front. The bent arm will come out in the press with some added heat to relieve the stress. Going to burn up some grinder time...

    Find your model online and get the manual. It will have the circuit in it. Popping a fuse is usually something downstream. You need to figure out what that part is. Could be on the same board, could be external.
