Morning, I am about to put my lift cover back on the 800 and I am cleaning out the center section sump. Really surprised how much muck is in there. On the 800 that is a separate sump correct? Not shared between the diff and trans? The real question is...I was wondering if there is a way... -

I tapped that sheet metal support down onto the spring seat and assembled it again. Much better! Now it seems right. Did the adjustments, now I just have to clean out the center section of the 800 and put it back together. Fingers crossed that I got everything right. Thanks everyone... -

Clarification on FO-20 Lift Cover Alternate Adjustment
Well it's not back together yet, but I got the adjustments done. I put a rod in the arms and measured over from it to a spot on my draft spring and made a mark on it. Then I used that mark to decrease that measurement by the 1/2" in the book. To make the "alternate adjustments", I found the... -

I actually put some oil on my felt already. Only because that was always what I was taught that felts were for. LOL. On my 37 Deere B, you soak the felt axle seals in oil before you install them. Different, I know, but don't see what it would hurt on this one. I also have lots of anti seize... -

So, I would just maybe tap the thin metal spring seat support down over the "bell" end of the spring seat before bolting it down then? That would make me end up with the felt washer sandwiched between the bell end of the spring seat and the draft control spring plate (with pin). Then the hole... -
