    Not familiar with yammer engines but this one which is in a John Deere mower will not start, won’t even fire with a shot of either. I unhooked the glow plugs before using either, glow plugs do work. New fuel in tank, new filter. Getting fuel to the injectors with the lines loose. Hopefully...

    166 diesel is kind of a rare bird. Not that many produced which makes parts hard to come by.

    Your choice, but I like to see old iron come back to life. If he gets it running, might be a good buy but the 166 diesel is very hard to find parts for, especially the fuel system. Hopefully the steering clutches are not froze up from sitting. It does have a good rear light😀😀😀

    Kinda figured it was diesel but just threw it out there. Still know of two gassers in this area, ya they love to drink gas. Never understood why IH put that huge cast iron valve cover on that engine, just to make it look bigger that the 706 I guess😳

    Can’t go wrong with 574 or 674 gas, the C200 engine is very very dependable. If thinking about a loader look for a tractor with the straight front axle,a lot of them had swept back axles for shorter turning radius. About 6 inches difference

    IH 806 engine water pump

    Gas or diesel?? Tractor vet covered diesel. Gas is a bit different. The fan is not mounted on the water pump bearing. If the fan bearing is wobbly your water pump may be ok. You did not mention if it is leaking antifreeze .

    966 injector pump Help needed!

    Have you cracked the lines loose at the injectors and cranked it over till you get fuel spraying out? What pulley did you replace? Only pulley is the harmonic balancer.

    There is a regular release bearing available for the cub, not the graphite one. I have installed a few of these. Don’t have numbers in front of me but a little research and you should be able to find one.

    Sorry about your grandfather. Sounds like you got it covered for things to get it running. Also remove the drain plug from the carburetor after you put clean fuel in it to make sure it comes out clean. The inlet line fitting should have a screen on it when you thread it out of the carburetor...
