    Do the 4430s cool well? I know the 4630 tended to run hot but what about the 4430.

    Are these good tractors? I think they are a Massey driveline behind a Cummins engine. Does it have a wet clutch? Any known problems or weak points? About what would one be worth with 4800 hours, average looking, 18.4-38 tires, average looking cosmetically.

    Isn't 300 gallon a little too much for that little tractor? I can get a used 300 for it but I think it might be a little too much. It is also elliptical which puts the weight further ahead of the axle. The weight of 300 gallons of water would be over 2500# and the mounts would no doubt add...

    Starter

    I should add that the starter works fine after cleaning and dressing up the commutator. You can hook it direct to a battery and spins over and sounds fine but the solenoid just won't engage.

    Are these decent quality? Price seems reasonable, just ordered a solenoid for my 4240. Way less than half of JD, a little more than half with shipping but still cheap in comparison.

    big frame final drives

    Would anyone know the final drive ratio of the 4630, 4640, 4650 and 4555? I think they are all the same but someone said the 55 series is different. I am not sure of the ratio but I think it is around 5.6:1.
