    He removed the pump shaft. Jacked up the motor, getting front wheels off the ground. Disconnected front end pins. Took the top four bolts in the front of the motor out, loosened the bottom two. This is where the terminology escapes us for sure...but he had to pry the "front end support...

    "Simply" seems to be beyond hubby today. He has the splined (spelling?) There doesn't seem to be room to get the bolts out? The front axle pivot seems to be in the way..does this help to help us? Sorry to be such a pain...haha

    Ok, here we go. He is actually working on this today. Deerborn loader on the tractor. The coupling on the crankshaft pulley is the issue. So there's no way to put belt on the pully. How do I deal with that? There must be something we're missing here.

    There's no room to slip that belt on and off! Are we talking the same tractor? My hubby is sure we can't do it...but I'm determined to find a way if we can...

    There is a loader on it and a front mounted hydraulic pump. There is no room between the pulley and the front axle pivot

    Wow there sure isn't much room under there to get that belt off and on that bottom pulley..you're talking about an 8N right?? That's what it is.
