    Clean the points, then check for spark. Seems like everything I let sit around here needs the points cleaned to run again. I use the dollar bill method.

    I'm not sure why you would even waste the time to do it now, what is the up side of it?     Are you sure there is enough fuel getting to the carb? I've had rust almost seal the inlet to the sediment bowl shut. I had to remove it from the tractor and pick rust flakes out, it was really jammed in there. Nate
