I removed the old solenoid and found a large crack in it. Replaced it with a new one and it started right up. I busted the old open and found a lot of corrosion where the contacts come together. I'm just wondering if the crack caused it to corrode, just old age or a combination. I suspect both... -

Yes, I changed the fuel filter when I replaced the pump. Last night I removed the line that supplies fuel to the pump and I have plenty of flow from the fuel tank. I reconnected the line and bled the air from the both ports on the fuel cannister and the injection pump. I did not work the motor... -
