    Deer resistant grass

I'm looking for a grass product to seed fields with. Ideally, it would be a type deer dislike and is low growing. I can mow it, so low growing or slow growing are desirable, but not necessary. My main crop, trees, will be planted in rows, but currently the deer feed across the field, eating...

    Oliver 1755 hydraulic lines

I'm thinking that I cut it too short. As best I can tell, it is 7/16 diameter (.730 outer thread diameter). It doesn't appear to have a tapered thread, but the fitting is only four threads long (before the nut portion). I'm now looking for 7/16 fitting to 1/2 NPT for hydraulic hose. I'll...

    Oliver 1755 hydraulic lines

Good afternoon. I hope everyone is able to enjoy their Labor Day weekend. I'm working on a 1975 Oliver 1755 hydraulic leak. It tis the line from under the floor access panel to the power steering. It is the largest fitting on the power steering unit. My leak was in the hard line, not...

    4-digit Cockshutt colors

Agreed - I knew what they weren't by trial and much error. I appreciate the info. The white doesn't seem to have any green tinge to it, but is sure wasn't plain white! Thanks for the help.

    4-digit Cockshutt colors

Good morning, I have 1650 and 1755 Cockshutts. I've looked everywhere for the correct colors for these, but can't seem to find a definitive answer (or much of any answer). These are working machines, so I'm not looking for perfect, but I like to keep things painted to stop rusting...

    Rear Fluid 1755

That's making me feel better. My manual is scheduled to arrive soon. I was thinking that this was the rear diff fluid, and I was getting WAY too much fluid out. I just bought this tractor, so I'll be changing all fluids and filters just to know that it is as it is supposed to be at a...

    Rear Fluid 1755

Thanks Gary. I did save it. Do you think that I should have drained it all? I ordered a service manual, but in the meantime, was that much oil supposed to come out? Thanks again, Bill

    Rear Fluid 1755

I removed what I thought to be a check plug. I got about 8 gallons of fluid out. Tractor is a 1975-6 1755 Cockshutt. Did I drain something, or do I have an internal issue, seal, etc. bad? Thanks, Bill
