    Manifold replacement

    I need to replace a manifold on my 8 N. Do I need to use any type of gasket cement or adhesive on the gasket? On one side or both sides of the gasket?

    Here is a photo of a Model A tire on an 8 N. tire size 4.50 - 4.75 X 19. This is an old Wards Riverside tire. I took it off a Model A I bought in 1993.

    As I have mentioned before, I use half worn out 19" tires off a 1930 - 1931 Model A Ford on my 8N. Most of your Model A buddies usually have some laying around. I have several I will give to someone that will pick them up or pay shipping.

    9n tires

    Find a buddy that drives a 1930 or 1931 Model A Ford, he probably has some used 19" tires that he will give you - or sell them cheep.

    Street tires for 8n front end

    If your wheels are 19 inch, then locate your nearest Model A Ford buddy and ask him if he has a couple of used up tires. 1930 & 1931 Model A's use 19 in tires. I have Model A tires on my 8N. Come by my place and I give you a couple.

    color change

    When I bought my TO 30, about 10 years ago, is had been painted like a "Red Belly" 8N. I have not repainted it and it still fools a lot of people when they see it.

    intake manifold leak

    After I fimally got the old ones off, I replaced them with the same size bolts with an Allen head. These are available at most auto parts houses. These are much easier to install and take out.
