    4400 Power steering.

    Need to pull the power steering cylinder out of the tractor. Radiator is out of the way already. There is SO MUCH caked on grease I cant tell how it is all supposed to come out. Does anyone one have any experience with these things? Ill post pics later today of the whole mess. Thanks in advance.

    I did. Checked the plugs too! Nothing there to alarm me. Seems to run fine too. Took it out and opened it all the way up thinking maybe it just needed to burn out some crud. Ran a mile down the road and a mile back 4th gear full throttle. No issues. noise disappears at higher rpm, returns at low...

    1952 8N brakes

    I would love to do the brakes on mine.....But I cant get the dang screws out. Gonna have to drill them out I guess but I'm not ready for that job...These brakes are inertia based to....so keep that in mind when using them

    1952 8N wiring questions

    The safety switch is the starter button. It wont let you depress the button while it is in gear. The starter will try to crank the motor even when the ignition switch is off. That really through me for a while too! The tractor will only actually start when the ignition switch is on.

    De-Gunking Engine Internals

    I used throttle body cleaner to remove the heavy build up. Worked like a charm. Plus it dry's out the part extremely well......anytime I clean engine parts I hit them with the stuff to clean micro oils and dirt from the part....the Wipe them with a light layer of WD40 to protect the metal.

    i will check them when I get home today....But as I recall the rear wheel is in a hole and that wheel is on a hill, could be causing it to appear tilted. It is an external leak and a huge pain in the butt. It even leaks when the tractor is not running. I have to fill it up to move it around...

    I will wager a set of dog ears for the 8N hood shipped to whoever wants in on this that the problem lies with the bolt on the side of the distributor not being insulated......If I'm wrong and it is something else I'll send the tin to who ever gets it right....but to get in on this you gotta make...
