When you put the motor in the bracket where the gauges are is there some sort of shims to make it line up with the shaft. I have the proper wobble joint connector but when you start drawin the bolts down it puts a strain on it.Any one with a picture of whats right? Just dont want to knock out...

    DUETZ 100-06

Some of these tractors were not good starters in cold weather, but if the engine has had the heads off and properly reshimmed after rebuild then they can start in VERY cold weater. Our 6807 would start with the glow plug down to about -18F. Up here most people put in the shroud heater. This...

    Deutz-Allis round baler

In their day they were an ok baler. Ours is contrary as he!! some days. There are a lot of small moving parts that over time get rust under them and then the tying mechanism won't work. Make sure you take a really good look at the frame. Especially on the 2.5 the door was too heavy for the...

    Titan Tires Again...

We bought our first set in 1989, when they were still called armstrong. They were super high power lug radials. At about six years of age the sidewalls started to crack bad so the Company repalaced them at half price for new high traction lug radials. I bought the takeoffs for $125 and put...

    Farm Wrecks

I was at a meeting yesterday and one of the speakers commented on a serious now reality in farm accidents. That was people forgetting about shutting off their autosteer units when leaving the field.

    Deutz Electrical questions

Do you have an engine heater? If you have an engine heater and a glow plug it should start. Our 6006 in over 30 years of loyal service has only failed to start once that I can remember and that was because the starter failed. I've seen dad start it when it was so cold the hydraulic pump...
