Ford 4000 Ind. PS Filter Question
Thanks for the replys. I found an exploded view at the local Ford tractor dealer and it looks like the previous owner has rigged a standard spring to serve as the filter hold down spring and it failed. The stock piece (Part #CONN3C603B) is $45 so I think I might try to rig something else up to... -

I"ve got an early 60"s Ford 4000 Industrial with the 4 cyl. diesel. My power steering has worked well since I bought the tractor so I have never paid attention to it until I blew a hose while bush hogging today. I took the hose off and decided to take the top of the reservoir cap off to see... -

My manual is still packed from moving and I need to service my Ford 4000 with the 4 cylinder diesel. Does anybody know what the oil capacity is for this engine? Thank you. -
