    Bought a 9n once. It broke down driving it home so had to get it hauled. Clutch would stick to the flywheel. Ring gear was missing a few teeth and it would not start if it had rained and was overly damp air. Sold it at auction. Bought a ferguson TO-20. Best small tractor made. Use that one...

    I planted alfalfa / grass 3 years ago. Alfalfa looks good, grass was late orchard and died out.

    Jd 2010 plowing help

    I used my 2010 to pull my 3-16 once, but that was in the spring. Nice and loose. Takes my 4020 to pull the same 3-16 in the fall.

    I replaced mine a while back and do not remember. But you may try to figure out what the alignment of the knife bar thru the guards wants it to do.

    Disc identification assistance needed

    I have one too. I made a wooden drag that I pull behind to level out the furrows behind the disc for planting hay fields, which I want perfectly smooth. It does a good job. Just grease up all the bearings

    I do have a question: I have 1 field of alfalfa 3 years old now. I planted grass / alfalfa mix but most of the orchard grass died that 1st winter. The thing is the alfalfa tends to fall over.     perfect weather here in SE PA too. Knocked down my last 6 acres of 3rd cut. The leafhoppers burned it alittle. And I did spray. They were bad here this year.

    Cross bearing help

    as long as needles did not fall out, clean the yoke up with a round file in the holes and flat file for clearance. Those things get bat up some.

    how are your crops doing?

    weather in SE PA for last 2-3 weeks has been near perfect. High 80's and a thunder storm every 3-4 days. First cut hay was thin as hardly any spring rain after March. 2nd cut was weedy & bug bit (leaf hoppers) as the rain wouldn't stop. Funny, 10 years ago we had 3-4 dry summers in a row. Now...
