    Too tired?

Starting fluid don't work. I'm going to check the maps at the starter. It definitely doesn't crank that fast.

    Too tired?

No, the plugs don't get wet,I'm thinking it's just not getting fuel. I've swapped carbs, both work perfectly when it's roll started. It runs but can't be pull starting all the time. I'm looking at the overhaul kits now.

    Too tired?

Thanks showcrop,I've been checking spark with a visual checker, and the spark is nice, that's what I can't believe. Not a pop after long cranking with choke on. I thought, does it not have the vacuum to get fuel? Last fall I noticed a small head gasket leak at the rear, that's when I decided...

    Too tired?

I've been using my NAA now 22 yrs. for brush hogging, haying, and hauling a half dozen acres.Ive noticed it getting tired over the last few years.Hard starting, warm or cold, has been driving me crazy.I have all the manuals,I've set the timing, rebuilt the carb numerous times. I just installed a...

1953 Jubilee - Lift arms 'jump'

My 1953 did the same thing. The lift cylinder safety valve was the cause. Unfortunately they are unique to 1953 and 1954,leaving us at the mercy of the market. I think I was whacked $285 for what amounts to a solder sealed check valve by a north east Ford/New Holland dealer. If you remove the...

    Dearborn two spool seals

I've had no luck trying to find replacement seals for my 19-71 loader valve. My go to hydraulic shop asked if they were for a high pressure application and I guessed they were being double lipped and shielded on both ends. They said they've got low pressure seals and sent me to a bearing and...

    Dearborn 19-71

Upon further disassembly, all becomes clear. It's amazing to me that this system has lasted 65 years, simple ,effective design. Pease.

    Dearborn 19-71

As I compile a list of leaky seals to replace, I disassembled a loader lift cylinder and was surprised to find no packing or piston with O- ring at the end of the rod. The only thing at the end of the rod is a washer approx. 1/4" wide, probably cast iron with a nut and lock washer. I guess all...

    cessna seals

I have a Dearborn 19-71 pipe loader. The lift circut seal is toast.I'm wondering if there's a source for the valve seals as well as the loader lift cylinder seals? The spool seal is marked 112FM20 CR. The bore it's pressed into measures.906 or 29/32" Anybody else got a line on these? Thanks, Mike
