    This starter has a weak casting. They break after a period of time. Thanks for the info you have provided.

    The tractor is a UPS with a 1107977 starter there are two others that will fit 11076051, 11076059. There aren't that many starters around that will fit this tractor This is a common thing that happens to this brand of starter.

    The air cleaner shaft is 3 pipe, nobody could tell me what size pipe fit on it. I hope the company will take it back if it isn't the right size. All the description would tell me, it 2.50 high by 6 wide.
