    Thanks. It s just sparking when I make a connection. When I touch terminal to stud. Not sure what you mean about it sparking when it can spin with the belt off. Btw the generator works fine on the bench. I think if the relay is sparking its grounding so it s bad so I ll just replace it...

    I see in the All States catalog diesel, gas, and diesel-gas mufflers. One diesel muffler us the best fit but I have a gas tractor. I could make one if their gas mufflers fit but would have to go to a muffler shop, not a huge problem if thats what it takes. Thanks

    According to NAPA and carquest nobody is making or selling brushes for 57 Case tractor anymore. However DB Electric sells new after market starters for them, but not the brushes. There are brushes that look just like mine on EBay but the sellers arent giving the dimensions on them. But...
