    Thr rings are the same as a4" bore Farmall M. I made my own O-Rings by buying 3/8" dia. O-Ring material and cutting on angle, then gluing with super glue for about $4.00.

    thread sealer

    Leaklock is the best. I used it for 20 years in the piping industry. Just make sure you wash the threads with a solvent before you apply sealer.

    rust in fuel tank advice needed

    Cleaned one out by filling about a third full with water, added about 2 cffee cans full of bolts and nuts, sealed up tank with sheet rubber and large hose clamp, strapped to wheel of jacked up tractor. Let it run slowly and it cleaned up sptoless.
