    Looked at a 1940 A all fuel yesterday, rough, but complete, no visible cracke, any idea of the value, has a good tag.

    have a 180 that had similar symtoms. the fuel hand primer pump was the problem. don"t know if 190 has the same but i thought i"d put my two cents in.

    yes, it's a diesel. i would have the head done by a shop. would have new pins and bushings put in. would replace sleeves and all bearings. replace rod bolts? you mean rod bearing cap bolts? please excuse my ignorance.
