Free firewood. You cut and haul.

Must be removed immediately. Wifey and I were hoping to keep this tree. The wind decided otherwise. It brushed the side of our half ton when it came down. Quaking aspen burns about as good as rolled up newspaper, but it does make an ash, and this one is less than 200 feet from my OWB...

    WD 45 back firing

Thanks to all who replied. I checked the valve adjustment and found to be right on, did a compression test and found to be 125 psi on all cylinders. The tractor was converted to 12v before I owned it. I found that it didn't have a resister for the alternator and no ballast for the ignition...

    WD 45 back firing

Not nessarily if it is a valve sticking open intermittently but if I pull the valve cover to check adjustment I can also see if a valve is sticking open. Also some times it runs fine and other times it does not. It will do it with no load or under load. Tried a little choke and doesn't...

    WD 45 back firing

To DR Allis. Spark plugs are new,new points and condensor, new wires, cleansd fuel bowl, cleaned and rebuilt carb flushed fuel tank,5 galons fresh fuel. I am more inclined to agree with OLD thatits valve related. It could be a valve that is sticking.

I get my mouse poison at the co-op. It’s called Just One Bite. I know it works because I find dead mice on the floor occasionally!

Hunting rights on my rental property?

I have a home/apartment in town that I've rented for the past 15 years. The last 12 years have been to single guys (about 6 years each) the last one was an avid hunter so I just let him hunt for no charge. The property is about 20 acres and maybe 3 acres are out of town on the edge of a creek...

    WD45 Plow Questions

Drop the plow and it just keeps digging in. Pump adjustment is set to "hold". Does it look like a hydraulic pump linkage issue or control valve issue? Plow not adjusted properly? Bad plowshares? I'm all ears. Thanks. [video...

    John Deere 95 rice combine?

I have sales brochures that show the 95 rice combines cutting in some very wet fields. Yesterday I was doing the same thing in some soybean fields. I was even cutting thru some standing water. I always made sure the bin was empty and kept the head up some so there was no extra drag to slow...

    todays photo

OK, so today is bike picture day. This is a photo of E.J Potter on his jet engined bike. His original claim to fame was a bike with a small block Chevy. He was called The Michigan Madman. Not much formal education, but a mechanical genius. Here is a link to the web site, lot of neat stuff...
