    Never thought about the coil because every time it quits I just walk around tractor and use the plunger on the pump a couple of times and hit the key and it fires up

    it is a gas engine and the fuel tank is clean and a new filter has been installed . I will have to check the coil the next time, Thanks for the replies

    My dad has a 1952 pacer and was wondering if anyone has a print on the lift hydraulics. His keeps blowing the gasket on the front cover where the plunger shaft & what looks like a pressure relief .
