    Camshaft

Really have no idea of price. Don't know for sure if it is the new one I bought or the used one. Was rebuilding the C200 in my 544 and on initial startup had no oil pressure, no oil to the rockers on top. tried a new oil pump. Then had a camshaft on order when someone recommended putting a pan...

    Camshaft

May have one on the shelf. Left over from redoing my farmall 544 several years ago. will need to check the part number to see if it is the same for a 2544, C200 engine. In southwestern Pa if you're close.

    Corn Germination Problem

Last seed treatment I could get was called Lattitude, came in a little pop top can. Don't know if it is still available. No-till planting in sod we used a granular insecticide in applicator boxes on planter, think it was Lorsban, haven't used it for several years either. Don't seem to need it if...

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

Would be nice if was closer. Not much of a road warrior here, that would take me 2 days at least.

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

Yep, saw that one. Will look under the one Old Ford Mechanic saw that started with an 0 .

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

Thanks, don't remember that one coming up when I searched earlier. Will look into it. By the way that's the same price JD had on their website. Looked them up. Appears to be a John Deere dealer, will have to give them a call in morning to verify they have part. Thanks

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

If I do order from them that is exactly what I was planning on doing. Just have the feeling that it won't be the right part. May come down to fixing the broken shaft. I had worked on this shaft 4 or 5 years ago - a bearing spun on the shaft and cut a serious groove in it that I ended up...

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

Thanks Daniel, the whole listing for the part I'm looking for seemed a bit sketchy to me. They use the part number but have a slightly different name for it and no mention of where they're located. Was the only online listing for the part that said they actually have it.

    Anyone know about AGKITS?

Tried to get some corn off yesterday before the rain today, with the 4420 JD combine, didn't go as planned. Only made it maybe 100 yards before major breakdown. Broke a main separator drive shaft. according to the online parts breakdown it is called separator jackshaft. Any how, got a hold of...

    Big Steam in Maryland

Got a flyer for that show at a bluegrass festival earlier this summer. Said they are featuring Frick equipment this year. Had slim hopes of finding my way down there, but the rainy, humid summer pushed everything behind for me. Finally getting good weather so stuck here trying to do three months...

07 Honda 420 ES shift motor

I wonder if there is a way you could tell if the polarity reverses in the wires by the switch or if the motor is grounded through its mounting so that only one wire at a time is energized changing direction? Just thinking of the electrical circuit as I know nothing about the unit you're working...

    propane Weed torch

I just got one of those yesterday. Anxious to try it out, but didn't get the self igniting one as they were out of them.:(

    Disc Harrow

If you can adjust angle of disc, like the old drag disc we had, take the angle out and just pull home the 2 miles with the tractor. Go slow and wear ear plugs. Did that lots of times with a 2 row cultipacker on back of disc going farm to farm. All that is providing the bearings are up to it.

Planting small amounts with John Deere 494

We always had someone ride the planter (or walk with it) to scooch the seed on the plates at those kind of instances. When it got real low, stop and fill the plate to get the last seed out. Way better than the finger pickup we're using now, can't do that.
