    Thanks dr. That's kind of what I was thinking the loader cyls are larger than the rear lift cyls so more oil will be needed. I was thinking reading dip stick with loader raised maybe 2 ft.

    Thanks for the the responses. I know on my WD when I shut it off I can stand on lift arms and arms go down. But on my 17 when I shut it off and I stand on arms they dont go down. I just want arms to go down so lift cyl. rods wont start to rust.

    I have a D17 series 1 the two rear lift arms do not go down even if tractor is not running. Tractor does have front end loader on it and it is plugged into rear hydraulic. Remote.
