    Slip Clutch Bolt

Looks like it is conical bolt with no head. Around 18 bucks for it. Seems to me you could simply drill the one end to match the other and put a regular bolt through it. As one end is slightly larger than the other. All it does is hold the clutch on to the gearbox spline which is 1-3/8 6...

    JD2030 tachometer cable connection

Lost again. I'm looking for two things; One where is the hydraulic fluid pressure sensor located and where the heck do you connect the tachometer cable. I have looked all over this tractor and can't find either. The tachometer has a 12 to 18 inch cable. Any and all help is appreciated.

JD 2030 Transmission Fluid Sending Unit

I have no idea what to call this thing or even if it exists. I am thinking the transmission on a John Deere 2030 should have a sending unit to either see the temperature of the hydraulic oil or the level in the housing. Problem is I can't find it or where it should be mounted. Any ideas? This...

JD2030 Oil Pressure Sending Unit Location

Finally figured out what that was on the left side of my JD 2030 engine block. I was looking at a JD 2020 on You Tube and noticed it. Suspense huh? It was a water valve like in a radiator. Seems kind of high on the engine block to me.

JD2030 Oil Pressure Sending Unit Location

Wondering if somebody knew where the oil pressure sending unit is on a JD 2030. I see one behind and above the starter on the right hand side (if you in the drivers seat) and another one that is on the side of the block on the left had side. Both are broken so can tell anything about them. Left...

    JD2030 Fuel and Water Separator

European, I found the filter by luck. it crosses to a Wix 33166, Napa 3166, Luberfiner L296F, or Baldwin BF825. Luckily the autoparts store had a TECFIL 2/155 that was exactly like what I took off the tractor. Thing looked like it had never been changed.

    JD2030 Fuel and Water Separator

I think somebody must have modified the tractor with a different non John Deere part as the part on this tractor looks exactly like an oil filter. Simply screw it on. I will take a picture of it tonight.

    JD2030 Fuel and Water Separator

Tim, Look on the other side of the tractor up by the fuel tank. Picture shows glass filter. Mine is more like an oil fuel filter. I'm thinking somebody changed it out at some point in time. There are no numbers on it so, have no idea what to replace the filter with at this time. I'm betting...

    John Deere 2030 or 2020

I will give this tractor a good look over this weekend and try and locate the tractor tag. The tag I saw was on the engine and as I changed the oil last weekend I noticed it. Are there any other identifying marks or engine numbers that I can look at to determine the size? Thanks again. Phil
