400 Ignition System
400 had 12 volt positive battery when I got it 5 years ago. Have had no problems starting at all until last weekend. Went to start after tractor sat over the winter and no start. Checking ignition system had no spark at points then noticed smoke coming from the device between the hot wire and...- pmf

Alternator 1086
Alternator went out on the 1086. (after 12 years). Bought the new one from this site and there is a difference in the wiring hookup from the old to the new. Old one had large wire ( I assume battery) to the casing and two wires on a clip to plug into the alternator. New one has the connection...- pmf
