    1566 IH cab off to make it look factory.

    Yes 86 seies cabs were a good cab.Would be a lot of work to put an 86 series cab on a 66 series tractor if that is what your thinking.Better off making your 1566 an open station tractor and then putting a ROPS/canopy on it.Or sell the 1566 and then buy an 86 series tractor. Paul

    Thanks for compliments,yep crying shame it's gonna get dirty.All it does is pull a baler in the summer so maybe it'll hold up for awhile.

    Been wanting to do this for a while...the original burgundy upholstery was hashed when I bought this tractor four years ago.Liked the grey better so went with that.Had a local upholstery guy do the seat.I picked the material he had available for the seat..turned out pretty good. Paul

    4230 value

    I paid 11,800 for this one a few months back from local farmer.Its a 1975 with QR,starts easy and runs great,has 6300 hours on it.Rear rubber was shot.I updated the brakes,new axle bearings and new rear rubber.It cleaned up pretty nice.

    White 2-105 Serial Number Question

    Look at engine number...should be stamped next to injection pump.Late 105's had the dot 4 perkins.Unless engine was swapped.The type of graphics on the sheet metal can give you an idea but there again sheet metal is easily swapped.Hopefully someone with more knowledge of whites will chime...

    Had something happen to me the other day,more of an accident tho.Was reistalling axle housing assembly onto the Deere and had to reposition the assembly on front end loader forks.Had final drive gears covered with a garbage bag so didn't see the gears.Went to move axle housing,final drive gears...
