    Piston 53 jubilee

    The pistons i have seen in the fiftythrees have been flat tops. My pistons have to humps onthe distributor side of the engine, the letter B is stamped on the tops also. What do I have?

    Have some play in rod ends, but did not check for crank movement. I will do that. poured acetone in cylinders, first and last cylinders leak out 3-? n-2nd cylinder no leaking yet. Thanks.

    I had thought about pulling a couple of main caps to check,but it is just so clean inside I have hesitated, there was no metal in the pan just small amount of sludge and just a trace of coolant.I need to pick up a manual to get all the specs. first any way. Good idea with the airhammer. Thanks!

    I hear you man, but I have only actually owned it for a couple of weeks. The fellow next door had it and said he would consider selling it to me, and I could tinker with it, so I just did the minor stuff until i paid him for it. I already have sheetmetal off getting it ready for repaint.

    bought 53 jubilee, had been sitting for a couple of years. Put marvelmysteryoil and mixture of atf and acetone in cylinders it has been in there for a couple of months now.
