    Ford 4000 SOS trans

    I have a 4000 diesel with a SOS trans. good working condition. Does anybody know if the trans can be shifted out of park without the inching pedal depressed while the tractor is running? I don't want to try for fear of breaking something.. This is a safety thing with younger children..

    5520 JD hydraulics suddenly don't work

    No power steering, no front end loader, no three pt lift. All happened after tractor sat for a week or so without being used, worked perfect last time used. Can get a little movement occasionally but not much. It is full of oil. Any help would be appreciated!!
