    So I have put a late model 404 in a 4020. I have also done a 466 . Now am looking to do a 8.1L . Has anyone ever done this ? I am finding out that not all 8.1 are the same . Is the 6081H the best to use ? Which ones are still mechanical not electronic ? Definetly need the Ppump . What issues...

    I can add 1000 lbs (7500class) behind the axle and my front end still stays down . So in the 6500 it is balanced even worse

    I have a single wheel JD 70D that I need to shed weight in the front . Would like to replace the heavy cast front wheel with something lighter . Where do I go to get a lighter wheel that fits this application . Or do I need to go to a pedestal ?

    OK that makes sense but wont I be sacrificing traction grip ? Seems like a trade off ? lots of tread lots of traction but more dirt pileup versus no tread no traction no dirt pileup ?

    Pulling farmstock 9500 and 12500 ,10mph with 18.4 x 38 . Currently have radial with 90 percent tread . Why are some telling me to go buy worn out 30 percent tires . Whats the advantage of this versus my newer ones . Will I actually gain a lot or will it not be worth it ? Pros and Cons ?

    4020 pulling clutch

    well I resurfacing flywheel too . And yes I agree on the need pulling tractor but I am usually in top 3 in the local pulls . But not when I go out to where the big boys run . I pull for fun and yes winning is great but I have fun losing too :)
