    i agree, the 489 is known for a bad wobble drive. I have a 489 and rebuilt the wobble drive 4 times in 5 years. Cost me about 500 bucks each time.     needing to know th length of the 9 bolt hubs. i have 10 inches of axel sticking out and would like it if i didnt have to slide my tires in to let the duals fit. it will be on a 1066

    found a set of dual tires and hubs for my 1066, the only thing is, they are 20.8 on 38's. the tires on mine are 18.4 on 38's. my qustion is, are theigger tires taller than the 18.4's? or just wider. and someone welded the hubs to the rim. any ideas as to why they would have done that would be...

    thanks i think parts shouldnt be a problem where i am, im only about 4 hours away from New Holland pennsylvania with about 3 dealers close. working with a jd 30 now i want to cut time drasticaly and move up a few years haha
