    Thank you all. What threw me was the short bolts in the lower holes with nuts on them.

    It may be? It was not mounted when I got the tractor but the bottom holes have bolts through them with nuts. I figured there was a bracket missing that bolted to the timing cover and the hood bolted to that.

    Do any of you have the bracket for attaching the bottom of the hood to the engine? I am finishing up the rebuild of my tractor and this part is missing. I would like to purchase one if anyone has one.
