Checking the orifice screen on a 560 or 460.

If you are having issues with your hydraulics on a 460 or 560 (maybe 660?) make sure to check your orifice screen. Mine had junk in it. Still not perfect, but definitely better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmb4-0estqU

    560 steps??

I'm looking bringing a set off of mini steps off the back, using the fender mounts and then one on the hitch itself. Probably have a go at it this winter.

    560 Tach cable (diesel)

Thanks! Unfortunately the housing was mangled too. I think it got pinched by the battery when I put a new one in. Either way it self destructed.

    560 Tach cable (diesel)

Thanks. Yes, not hard to find, just before buying a new one I wanted to check with board members. Kind of along the lines of who'd you prefer to do business with. :)

Before buying a new one, does anyone have a good used one they would part with?

Info on this COOP sickle bar mower (E15?)

I picked this up a couple days ago for my E3. It's missing the board, but other then that appears to be there and working. I can't quite tell but looks to be E15AD or E15A9?

    Farmall 560 traits?

The leak you will have to run down. Could be a couple different things. At worst it might be a day's worth of work. Wide front parts are all still available. Regarding clutch travel, it sounds like you may want to adjust your clutch. Loose pedals are very common. No bushing. Take it out...

Best Way to Flush Out Crud in Engine Block ??

Strong white vinegar will work as mentioned. You can also buy phosphoric acid by the gallon for around $30 (I'll have to look at the brand I have at home). I'd lean towards the vinegar first. If you can seal it up and fill it with regular water, putting a block heater in one of the frost plugs...

    560 died

You don't have gas pooling in the carb do you? I would recommend doing a compression check.

I also agree that it's in fuel delivery. As others have said, pull the line where it goes to the carb. check the flow. It should be a stream. If you have a steady stream then it's in the carb. Most carbs have a screen at the inlet. Check it for restrictions if your flow is good. If the flow...
