    farmall 460 piston rings

    hey guys, just wondering if any of you have heard this. A&I products is telling me that their aftermarket piston rings wont work with my stock 460 gas pistons and the only reason they can give me is because they are a different or newer material.

    need help guys. has anyone else run into this. re ringed my stock std 460 gas 221cid piston with aftermarket a and I rings, now tractor will not run worth a crap. talked to tech support at a and I and with out giving me a real answer they just say their rings are different and wont work with...

    looking for options on a stock 221 block. is there a better head that will bolt up to stock block, what can block be bored to and what piston works with that, what can you put in for a replacement crank. are there better automotive valves that would work in stock head. just looking for ideas...

    hi guys. iam looking for a carb kit for my 460. the number on the carb is 368141r1. cant seem to find one for this number. also wtondering if I get the head cleaned up and a new valve train if there are any better or bigger valves I can put in this head.

    hey guys looking to get rid of my generator and voltage regulator set up on my 1960 460 gas. and replace with a 3 wire alternator. does anyone have a diagram on the correct way to do this, or be able to list out the steps to do. thanks

    thanks for the input, but was thinking with just staying with the oe block. perhaps it can be bored and a bigger piston put in?
