farmall 460 piston rings

hey guys, just wondering if any of you have heard this. A&I products is telling me that their aftermarket piston rings wont work with my stock 460 gas pistons and the only reason they can give me is because they are a different or newer material.
 
A & I don't have the only game in town and there are other places ya can get rings that FIT . NOW keep in mind if it needs rings it needs sleeves also , so putting a band aid on a cut that needs stitches is not going to heal a thing . You can get rings from a GOOD NAPA store Or a good engine build shop or a good Maw And Paw parts store CHEAPER . As for me i get mine from a Jobber warehouse at jobber price and that is over half of what they cost you . And one more thing here one size sleeve DOES NOT fit all as you have two bore classes and a A B class bore takes one size sleeve and the C D class take a bigger OD sleeve .
 
total crock! are they plastic rings then ? you never use the same rings that the sleeve is made of.
