Hey guys I’m following up again on this since I haven’t had time to mess with it in a while. To summarize what was done and where the function is currently. 1. Removed the regulator block 2. Removed the ball 3. Drilled the orifice in the piston by .040” 4. Reassembled all Function as follows...

Farmall Wiring Schematic with New 3-Position Switch

I know this is an old post but it’s the most relevant to my current project. I am installing a new 3 position light switch on my F350 diesel row crop. The old switch was corroded too badly to read any nomenclature from. I also think it had been previously miswired. When placing the switch in the...

    350 utility hydraulic issue

I removed the ball and spring from the regulator but I left the screen and orifice as is. The fast hitch is working great now. I haven’t hooked up anything to the auxiliary valve yet but it feels like I’m on the right track. Thanks!

Thanks for clarifying. That’s what I was assuming. Will report back later today on status. Travis

    350 utility hydraulic issue

Jim, Thanks for the reply. To be clear, you are suggesting to remove the ball completely but leave the spring and rider in place? Also, drilling the orifice to .038-.040. Could you please elaborate on exactly which orifice you are referring to? Thanks, Travis

    350 utility hydraulic issue

update: Removed, disassembled and cleaned the regulator. Replaced the piston o ring. The ball and spring seemed in good working order. The screen orifice was dirty but not plugged. Reassembled and installed. Unfortunately no change in operation. Leaving the aux control locked in position allows...

    350 utility hydraulic issue

I believe I see all the parts you mentioned in the parts diagram. Sounds simple enough. I am curious why there is only one regulator block when there are two valves. Any thoughts?

    350 utility hydraulic issue

Ok guys, here’s the situation. I had recently done a double split on this to fix the t/a seal leaks. I also pulled the hydraulic cap off and the rear end top plate to clean out the rearend and the hydraulic reservoir (it was very dirty) I had to replace the hydraulic filter screen because it was...

    Farmall carryall restoration

I have acquired the parts for a carryall. I am making new angle iron pieces and a new threaded bolt because they were badly pitted. The prongs are in good condition however. Other than 2150 red on all of the steel and the 2x8x60” boards I am not sure what the rest of it should look like. Are the...

    TA throwout bearing

Thanks for the reply Jim. I must have missed the note where it says lubed for life. I also was not aware that it didn’t stay engaged as a main clutch bearing does. That’s a big relief. I will work on making sure I get it cleaned well. Travis

    TA throwout bearing

I am going through the clutch housing on a 350 utility with TA. I have replaced all of the seals and thoroughly cleaned and inspected the ta clutch, bearings and etc. The main clutch throwout bearing has a 1/8” pipe extending below it to allow lubrication by removing the 2 bolt bottom cover. No...

    450 Diesel carb

Ok guys, Thanks for all of the suggestions. I cleaned the carb bowl and screen. Removed and serviced the oil bath and the entire housing. Put everything back together and she’s running much much better. Probably still a little rich compared to the other one but completely operable now.
