    Use a little heat on the hub of the pulley, that will help loosen it on the tapered bushing.

    You might check the ignition timing, to see if the advance is not working right at higher RPM's.

    I was going to mention the service manual from Binder Books, but you mentioned you have it. That is usually one of the best place to get IH books.

    Where do I buy 20W Straight viscosity oil!?

    I think the multi-grade oils tend to be detergent oils. When you're using oil for hydraulics, you do not want detergent oil, it tends to be a little more foamy and might get air bubbles in the oil.

    Dies after a short while

    You might check the gas cap, to make sure the vent isn't clogged. That can cause a vacuum in the gas tank, and the tractor to die after a few minutes.

    I usually use a good layer of Permatex #2 on the governor gaskets, make sure to clean the surfaces good first.

    Farmall bn rebuilt engine sound

    I had that problem with the domed pistons on a Farmall A that I rebuilt a few years ago. I just took a little off each piston dome, on the side that was hitting the cylinder head. Problem solved.

    Cub fan belts

    I don't know about Gates, but on the NAPA Online website belt 251428R1 cross references to NBH-2524308, and belt 107671C1 cross references to NBH-4L220W. Hope that helps...

    Farmall A and Farmall AV Nose Cone

    My Farmall A and Super-A parts book says they should fit, both have part number 58139DAX. A grille for a Super-A1 would probably be different... And of course, a Farmall B grille will not fit.

    300 Utility IH

    If it's sitting outside in the cold (below freezing), and there is water in the transmission, it could be froze and keeping the gears from turning.

    WD45 electronic ignition

    If you get *good* points, they'll last a long time. Sadly... people get points from the land of almost right (across the pond to the west), and they don't work well from day one. Good points - NAPA Echlin or Standard Motor (Available from O'Reilly) - cost more, but work.

    Incorrect Super A carburetor?

    Yes, the 14007 carburetor is a real Zenith carburetor. It does look like it's slightly cheaper from yesterday's tractors, depending on how much it costs to ship.
