    Just my opinion, but I would check compression, valve lash, ignition system, fuel system and charging system before I would overhaul anything. Not as many engines need overhauls that are thought to need one. A proper going through can solve many, many drivability/operating issues. Best of luck.

    460 gasser overhaul-still some issues

    If the manifolds are really bad, and leaky, all the carb adjusting in the won't make a difference. I am thinking you have what we call in the fuel injected world "unmetered air"; the engine is sucking in air after the carb. Just a guess! New manifolds and gaskets should really help! Be sure...

    International 56 planter HELP!!!!

    Here is a picture of a 56 planter with the adjustable frame. It has the offset wheel arms. If yours are straight, then yours in not adjustable. The manual will explain how to use/set the row units, how to adjust and check population, and many other things. There is alot going on in the seed...

    There were 2 versions of the planter; standard wheel frame, which could be 34, 36, 38, and 40 inch rows. The adjustable wheel frame can do 28, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 inch rows.

    It is funny, I keep thinking "Well, a diesel engine is roughly 30% more efficient than a gas engine, and the price spread is about 30%" . Probably me just being a conspiracy theorist, but it is a rather handy idea. Jet fuel is pretty much kerosene, and we commercially and militarily use alot...

    dumbest question ever posted

    I just lost the fuel cap from my Fox Super D; I took it off, stuck a calibrated stick in the tank,and then started to finish chopping. Noticed it gone after 1/2 round. I walked that whole field; now the chisel plow has buried it! Sad day! :(

    Does that engine not use glowplugs? I though they did; you should not need any ether if; 1.)The battery is in good shape, holds proper charge, and the battery leads are the correct gauge. 2)Compression is good and valves/pump are adjusted properly. 3)the glowplug system work even a little bit...
