    Actually, I don't think the Spring I am talking is a Governor Compensation spring. But it hooks somewhere near that to the carburetor arm.

    I have a Ford 2110 tractor. My machine would drift down when I shut it off. It would jump once in a while. I put a Lift Piston Cylinder kit in it. Took care of the problem.

    Ford 600 , 1956 valve adjuster. There are no screwdriver adjustments for the valves. It just has the bolt to adjust It, it looks like. Is there a place I have to loosen up first? I am no mechanic by no means. I don't want to screw up my valves. Just hard to get anyone to look at it around here...

    I just ordered new ignition kit, spark plug wires and a distributor cap. I took carb apart and cleaned it . Everything looked good. Good gas flow. Thank you . This post was edited by Reid Johnson on 01/26/2023 at 11:43 am.

    I checked in the dark this morning, no arcs. I will look at points again. Actually going to try another coil and points, rotor today. Thank you for the ideas.

    good idea checking in the dark, forgot about doing that. I did check just now in the dark, didn't see any arcs anywhere on the tractor. Thank you.

    Under the cap was dry, but it is possible the wires could have had snow blow on them, thanks.
