    404 International rear main seal

    I am having problems getting a rear main seal to stop leaking on a 404 International. I have replaced it twice, the second time taking care to file the adaptor flat, it was warped. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    I use these on the inlet, work great! You may have to drill the hole out to fit. I add a little sleeve retainer, for insurance.

    Handy Soldering Tool

    The tool can be found for $50 Part number WSC15 AST Tool Company A deer hunter shot through the floorboard of a jeep Cherokee. Went through the transmission bell after it cut the harness. No obvious leak. The three guys in the jeep are ok, but one is very embarrassed.

    801 starts runs fine for 2 minutes then dies

    I recently had a fuel flow problem on a 601. I found that the sediment bowl mounting bolt cross drilled hole did not line up with the inside of the casting. Redrilled in line with the cavity, worked perfectly.
