I have turned it counter clock wise and then turned the lever on the right, under the brake, both ways and still nothing.

    730 Hydraulics

yes I have tried it with the pump handle switched both ways and the pto disconnect switched both way , still nothing. I have tried every combination. I haven't found any place to check it in the repair manual, where do you check it and which oil does it use?

    730 Hydraulics

yes it is, I had that replaced a couple years ago, I don't think the pto will work if it isn't in the "on" position.

    730 Hydraulics

Ok finally got the 730 all running good, hooked up to the plow and no hydraulics to the three point. I plowed with it last about 2 years ago but the three point won't go up. I can get the pto engaged, which I think it has to be, for the three point to work, but nothing. I have engaged the lever...

    Propane 730

Got it printed I'll check it out tomorrow. Another question, we took the fuel solonoid out while waiting on the new part and I connected the lines together without the solonoid. The tractor started and ran, is this something that has to be there, and what purpose does it serve?

    Propane 730

Inherited my dad in laws 730 propane and we decided the "solonoid" was bad, ordered another one and put it on, just like I took it off I thought. By solonoid I'm talking about the part with propane running through it just before the regulator with a couple of wires. After I got everything...

    Propane Question

I recently inherited my dad in laws 4020 propane, and put propane in it a few months ago and went out last week and the tank is empty. Someone told me that instead of wasting propane to check for a leak that I could just put air into the tank and then use soapy water to find it. I hadn't thought...

    Electrical Question

So you are saying it should be a negative ground?
  10. R

    Electrical Question

    Electrical Question

I understand that. I'm just saying all three of these wires, alternator-starter-and battery cable all go to the same place. And from the looks of it that's the way they have been connected for a very long time.
  13. R

    Electrical Question

The wire from the alternator is going to the same place (whatever that is) as the black battery cable, the wire from the starter, and a wire going to the on-off switch.

    Electrical Question

    I'll check on that

    Electrical Question

It has a alternator, no generator.
