    Hi Royse. I have spark at the plugs,very good at that. I did not realize that gas ran back down...you taught me something today. Lol! I checked to make sure it was “in time”. Number one piston tdc and the rotor is at number one plug on distributor cap.Any other ideas are welcome. RevJohn

    Hello folks! I have a ‘52 8N,12 volt conversion. I have a new carb,checked the float,needle and seat but trying to start it,it floods. Gas comes out the air intake. So naturally it will not start. It will sputter at times but that’s it. My original carb cracked,that’s why I got a new one but...

    Tim,the conversion was already done when I bought it. It had been running fine. One day last week I started it,ran about a minute and died. One gentleman said maybe floor switch is bad. Possible I guess. I agree though,seems like a electrical problem.

    I pulled a plug to check for spark plus checked the coil for spark also. Yes sir,I checked the gas first.

    It does fill up the jar.It has a good stream coming out. I have spark also. When it does try to start it?ll blow a little smoke out of the carb. (I disconnected the breather tube for now.

    Here we go folks...I have 12 volt,electronic ign. It was running then died. Carb float is set,new coil,timing set. I have spark to plugs. Switch is working. Try to start and maybe run 5-10 seconds then dies. Tried starting fluid not really any help. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks a...

    Well I have no fuse system....other words no fues block. I did a few fuses myself. Whoever wired it did not do a great job. One person said ," take the alternator wire that says battery,cut it into and put one on one side of the ampmeter and the other half that's cut on the other terminal...
