    Circlip removal tool

I have an Alice chalmers backhoe, with some leaky cylinders. There are 1 1/5 or larger pins with outside two hole clips on them. I cant get them off for nothing. Anyone have a source for a set of really heavy duty outside removal pliers?

Looked at an 8N yesterday in my area. Had a Sherman and?

Mr. Geiger Thanks so much for the response. So with the Sherman it has a higher ground speed and with the Henry it will slow down while still spinning the PTO at the proper speed. Kinda nice. I didn't really want another 8N, but if this one runs it may be worth it. Richard

Looked at an 8N yesterday in my area. Had a Sherman and?

So I looked at this tractor yesterday. It had a bucket on it, that I'll have to take off and discard. NEW rear tires a Sherman tranny in it. It also had a second transmission he said. It was a replacement side cover for the transmission on the right side. I think it said henry with a lever to go...

    Drill Press Suggestion

My $.02 is to get an old unit off Craiglist or Ebay. For $100 or a little more you can have something that will last your life time and better than anything you can buy today. I must have 10 drill presses. Delta, Atlas, Craftsman, and many more are readily available for cheap. The older they are...

    1986 Cummins Diesel Injector Pump

I've got an 86 Allis backhoe with a 239 CID Cummins diesel. It's got a Lucas CAV injector on it. The pump needs to be resealed or rebuilt. I need a reputable injector pump guy. I'm looking for recommendations please. Don't really care where they are, I can ship it anywhere in the country...

    Yankee tool

Yes when I was an electrical apprentice in the IBEW local 3 NYC we were not allowed to use them. Too fast, I couldn't believe it at the time, but they wouldn't let me use it. I have a few of them, but rarely use them nowadays.

    Soldering wires

How many watts is the pencil soldering iron? Most likely it's a low wattage unit, 25 watts? Soldering a ring terminal onto wire can be done that way but it is harder. You may not have a soldering gun, but that would make it a lot easier. Here are Fazio's steps to soldering. Taught to me by my...

    Allis Chalmers 715D Backhoe

I posted a bit back about this backhoe. It has a 239 CID cummins diesel. I was having trouble getting it to run right. It would start and run for 15 seconds and die. Then after cranking some more I might get it running. It does not run right. This happened all of a sudden. I changed the fuel...

    Farmall M Rear Wheel Bolts

I need a set of new bolts and nuts for the rim to hub union. They are kind of special in that they have thin inner nuts and a long thread on the square head bolts. Is there a source for these? Or do I need to make up my own. Mine a loose and so rusted I can't do anything with them. Thanks in...

    1986 Cummins Diesel

It starts normally. Runs perfect for 30 seconds or so then just slows down and dies. Not all of a sudden, like shutting the key. Once I got it running after trying for a while and it wouldn't take the throttle. If I pressed too hard it would die. If I went easy it would go. It has two fuel...
