    “O” ring size for Ford air cleaner

    It looks like I will be repurposing the old power steering o-ring from the reservoir. I ordered a new filter and it came with a o-ring of about the right cross section so I will cut it to size and glue it like Jim said. I have done it many times.

    I am sure you are right on that. This is a new to me tractor and the oil leaks and dirt combination are manageable but would like to get them under control. It was quite sludgy around that area.

    55 years ago when I was young and a old shed was in my backyard, ok it was a couple of football fields away I found this and had to roll it home. No idea what it did but cool at the time. It’s been moved several times and now I think it should be recycled. What is it?

    The best I can do is to use the existing shear pin as a guide and use grade 2 like you said and cut the grooves deeper than normal( i have a lathe) and try if it shears sooner than I think, than redo the pin with a shallower cut.     Identify this rotary cutter please.

    I have no desire to do heavy bush hogging with it mainly keep down the grass and shoots that pop up. I am thinking the slip clutch selection might be based on the output shaft rated hp and if it is than I would select a lower hp clutch.
