Front End Loader for John Deere 50

Hi, I bought this loader 40 years ago and the person said it would fit a JD50 narrow front end, which I think it will. Of course over the years i never installed it and it’s time to get rid of it. The number on the plate reads “ WM1 JD AB………494” does anyone have thoughts if it does fit a 50 or A,B. What would be a reasonable asking price? Thanks guys/gals.

Well, we know it is an aftermarket Wagner WM1 loader. JD AB probably means it had mounts to put it on late JD A&B tractors, which most likely will fit 50 & 60 as well. If I can find old literature that confirms my suspicions, I will be back.

My brother recently sold his clean but unrestored JD 50. It had an aftermarket red trip loader on it which was not beat up and worked well. The tractor ran good but had not been run for 4 or 5 years so would likely have needed the fuel system and ignition points tweaked. It had new rear tires put on about 10 years ago that hadn't seen a lot of use.
Neighbor bought it for the tires.

Breaks my heart.

Breaks mine too but I was glad to see him get rid of it at whatever price.
He is something of a hoarder and has a lot of stuff and junk.
He's 76 now, has no heirs and having some health issues.
For the last couple of years I have very gently been trying to hint that he get rid of some of it but being I'm still his little brother he isn't real interested in my advice.
A few months ago we got in a huff and I flat out told him I would probably be the one to hafta clean up his estate and didn't want to be saddled with that task.
Maybe - hopefully - it's starting to dawn on him that he could let some of it go.
