    Thanks J. Thats interesting! So is it a super 88? The rear fenders are stamped oliver. But the information I read about the first year they used the 77 sheet metal doesnt make sense.

    550 power steering

    The problem I was having with my power steering pump pushing fluid out when I shut the tractor off is now fixed. I put Lucas Transmission Fix in the pump and let it run for a couple hours then shut the tractor off and the fluid level stayed where it should. Im thinking it was a sticky check...

    Thanks super 55. I felt it was in the pump not the system because when I had it hooked up to the tractor hydraulics I didnt have a problem just took to much away from the loader. Thats why I went to a separate pump. Ill try Jackson after Christmas.

    I recently put power steering on my 550. I went with the Jackson power steering system and the generator driven pump. The problem Im having is when I shut the tractor off it it pushes the fluid out the top of the pump. Might there be a sticky valve in the pump? Any help appreciated.

    y Oliver is a 62. Did they change pumps later. Most I have seen were up under the hood mounted off the water pump. How much do you want for the pump and how can I contact you. Thanks

    First off Im a longtime user first time poster. I have just put Jackson power steering on my 550 and it has taken to much from my loader hydraulics. Im looking for help with an external pump. Has anyone put one on a 550? Im told one off a Toyota works. Any help appreciated.
