    I have lost the dip stick to my 245. The new one on this site is 7" long, can someone tell me if that is 7" from where the stick seats in the tube or the entire length? I need to check the oil with a wire or something till my new dip stick arrives. Thanks

    Thats kinda what I was thinking. Will replacing the O-ring Tighten up the steering response?

    I now have all the ball joints tight and the front axle pin bushings in my 245, I have noticed there is still play in the steering and when driving in the field that the tires move the steering cylinder in and out. Would this be a weak point in the steering cylinder or in the steering box??

    Lincoln AC stick welder ???

    Mice have got in my welder and have chewed the wires from the cooling fan. I am having a hard time finding where they connect to the welder. Can someone tell me or post a picture of where they go. Mine has only two wires. Thanks Robert

    I have a 1977 245 massey ferguson. This winter I replaced bushings in the front axle, pin was fine, ball joints tight, and I still have play in the steering. I have looked for an adjustment on the steering box but did not find one. Any suggestions?
