Have Silverado w/ 5.3 - will I do OK with the new 2.7?

Stay with your 5.3. Quite a few problems with the 2.7 and also with the 3.0. Techs hate working on either one.

    self driving tractors

One of the self driving cruise cars in California ran over a woman crossing the street recently. I don't want to be in a car that I can't control

    Dearborn 10 156 Plow

Trying to find what the initial setting would be on a 10 156 14-inch plow for the draw bar. Standing behind the plow looking forward on the right side the drawbar had a L shaped drop. What would the distance be from the L back to the frame Thanks Robert

    Dearborn 10 156 Plow

I have the manuals but it doesn't give the initial setup distance. I have attached a photo of the plow and the red line points to the measurement I am looking for Thanks

Farm pickup - added shutter stopper and it is better

The convertor is coming apart. On the 6L we just go ahead and change the convertor for a new one if there is not metal in the panel and the fluid isn't burnt.

    Diesel Escalade

I believe it is fake news. Putting as much gas as he says the did would really mess up the fuel system. On the 6.6 Duramax we had to clean everything from the fuel tank bottom to the injectors. The baby duramax is the same way. A gallon or so mixed in several years ago would not hurt but with...

    Chopping silage

When I was a Teenager back in late 60s that is what got me interested in Farming and tractors. Helping a couple of Dairy farmers cut and haul silage. Not done around here now due to all the farms being sold and made into housing complexes. Still have a 660 Ford and use it for gardening and bush...

2015 Silverado transmission has a shutter

It sounds like the convertor. If it was lower mileage I would change the converter, flush, change filter and fluid. With the higher mileage I would go with a good remained from Jasper or GM. Cost a little more but the warranty is there. Later models with the 8 speed had problems with the fluid...

    GM 6.2 diesel advice please.

Unless you are a mechanic who has worked on those old diesels and are getting the truck really, really cheap I would be looking for something else.
