    I would like to build a garden tractor pulling tractor ,I would like to use a c141 wheelhorse frame and transmission and buy a motor to turn the belt drive. can I make this combination competitive?. is the hydrostatic , hydraulic transmission strong enough? any one have any plans for a guy to start?

    My 8 N death wobble,

    I went on a tractor run 2 yrs ago with my 47 8n no Sherman, guy ahead of me said I was doing 14 mph full out I suppose that's normal,but my point is even at that speed I couldn't really enjoy the beautiful scenery. a tractor run shouldn't be a race. but I did enjoy it

    I would check for air leaks at the carburetor connection and the intake manifold , spray small amt of starter fluid on connections at carb and manifold to engine if it revs up you have a leak

    temp overnight in twenties started up my 8n with clutch in started fine but couldn't let clutch out it would die finally warmed up a bit and it broke lose I need to change trans/rearend/hydraulic fluid, there was a list of tips by a guy on maintaining n,s he listed compatible greases, I shop at...

    Thinking of welding together a rear lift boom for ny 8n would like to use the extra tow bar I have .anyone have any drawings showing how far it should extend what angle out from the tractor. or any drawings that may give me ideas?

    Front distrutor, resister looks like the original not real white and not veery wise, if I jump around it and it starts I iassume I?ll damage something if I run it for any length of time. Yes
