    i have a 17.5 craftsman mower may be out of time turns over one revolution then struggles will run with ether . looked at keyway at top of vertical cramk looks good could it be points? is there another keyway. how do i get to points . it is 14 yrs old, thanks for info

    i have more information om my craftsman 17.5 hp briggs engine. the mower is a model 33748 bought it is 14 yrs old, as stated it turns over very hard as if out of time, with a little ether it will start and run., jumpered battery, etc, i feel if its the starter it would turn over slowly instesd...

    i have a sears 12 hp tractor, it will run but is out of time spins with plug out but struggles with plug in, i looked at vertical shaft keyway and it looks like it hasnt moved, is there another keyway and is there another way it can be out of time? it will run with a shof ether?

    i have a 52 cub , are there any implements that fit both cub and lowboys. interested in front blade or belly blade and belly mower or bush hogs not plows or planters or discs. thanks in advance for any advice.

    just out of curiosity what are the following tractor speeds cubs are 8.5 mph and 3 speed, what model intrnationals first go to 4 speed?. what is the speed of the a series and the m series. live in suburbs so any thing larger than an m out of the question.

    getting more speed

    thanks for all the input sounds like many in runs like to go fast and resent the slow guy , ill be looking for a tractor with a 4th gear or join a cub club if there are clubs with only cubs or tractors with speeds like cubs. i actually like going slow and enjoying the scenery.

    i have a 52 cub , i want to join my clubs tractor runs but they want you to be able to run at least 10 miles an hour, is there a gear change that can be made to a cub transmission that can get me another 4 or 5 mph. my top speed now is 8.5 mph
