sway chains or three point linkage stabilisers- 4430

I will take a photo and put on here . A picture will show the problem better. Each side has about 1.5 inchs gap before the lower arms meet the sway blocks. The mower could have wide attachment points compared to what was put out in the 70"s

sway chains or three point linkage stabilisers- 4430

Hi , Is there anything that can be retro fitted onto a 4430 three point linkage arms ,to stop the excessive sway when I has a mounted hay mower on . JD is its wisdom choose to use the mounting block type system ,which is my opinion was a pretty poor set up . Did the latter new gen tractors...

    nh ts100- left hand reserver.

Is there any way to slow delay the reserve - forward time . I would be only trying to delay it by a few seconds . The tractor has had new sinhco "s on the forward reserve ,and by slowing this down some ,it may help with the life of this part. The operator can play a part in the wearing out of...

Pros Cons 359T vs 404 engines

John Deere had moved on from the 404 by then , to the 466.Poor low end torque was the main issue for this motor. The 359T was also being produced by that stage in far greater numbers ,so probably far more ecomonically to build that engine ,especially as the 404 needs some development to overcome...

    4440 tractor and batwing problem.

My first guess , that the pto shafts are to long . Both the outer and inner need to be shortened so if you go into a dip or something similiar ,the shaft has room to shorten. An over long pto will bend a pto shaft pretty easy ,as something has to "give" If this isnt your problem , the others have...
